Kristy Ludwig is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wisconsin who has been practicing since 2020. She has a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Master of Science in Counseling – Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mount Mary University. Kristy believes building a strong relationship with her client is fundamental to foster healing and growth. She explores what makes each client uniquely them, placing value on her belief that each client is not defined by the difficulties they may be experiencing. Working with children, adolescents, and young adults, Kristy finds it essential to offer a warm, compassionate, and empathetic approach to aid in creating a safe and non-judgmental environment. She uses a strengths-based approach drawing from the relationship between the client, the therapist, and the family to aid in creating and reaching treatment goals uniquely tailored to each client. Kristy applies evidence-based interventions incorporating creativity to support the young mind in moving towards healing. She empowers her client and their family with skills to cope with life’s challenges, advancing them to live a fulfilling life. In her spare time, Kristy enjoys spending time with her dog, gardening, various forms of art (most recently diamond art) and attending and watching Wisconsin Badger games. She also enjoys spending time outdoors and being active. Skiing is one of her favorite pastimes as she was a downhill ski racer for 18 years.
