About Lauren O'Brien (She/Her)
Lauren O’Brien is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor-Supervisor who has been practicing since 2011. She graduated from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Lauren believes in following her clients on their individual journey and joining with them to create an individualized approach to care. Lauren offers a humanistic approach to care, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral therapy, elements of Gestalt therapy and person-centered therapy. She offers a comfortable and safe space for ALL people and incorporates humor into her treatment. Lauren feels humor helps to build the therapeutic relationship. Her main areas of focus include depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder.
In her spare time, Lauren enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and enjoying frequent trips to the Disney parks!
