Dr. Rifenburg completed her general adult psychiatry residency and geriatric psychiatry fellowship training at Brown University where she served as chief resident. As an adult and geriatric psychiatrist, Dr. Rifenburg has a special interest in working with seniors in whom chronic medical illness, cognitive disorders, or neuropsychiatric conditions may interact with co-occurring mental health issues.

My TeleMed visit with Dr. Rifenburg was very good!!! She was extremely helpful in encouraging me to accept my upcoming long surgical and hospital and rehab stays. She is very positive and skillful. Although I expressed severe sleep problems, she was not at all judge mental. I greatly enjoyed her interest in my new table top Christmas tree with train, changing lights and musical aspect playing 8 Christmas carols. She helped me with a change in one of my medications. I have been seeing Dr. Rifenburg for 8 years now. Very compassionate and willing to change the plan of care when stuck. This is the first time I brought a family member and she was very happy about that and eased my daughter’s mind. Grateful to have accesss to such a caring knowledgeable professional.

I saw Dr Rifenburg for tbe first time. My session was much more productive than I thought it would be since I don't like or do zoom appointments. Dr Rifenburg was attentive and has already started me on a new coarse of treatment. I have made a follow-up appointment.

I have nothing but confidence in Dr. Leanne Rifenberg. In-person appointment availability is tight, but she is worth the wait...I've never met a more patient and caring provider. She made my family member immediately feel very comfortable.
