Mental health and substance dependence issues have been increasing at alarming rates. Lisa Lavelle is a Licensed Mental Health and Substance Abuse Master Counselor with ten years of experience. Lisa specializes in PTSD, simple and complex trauma, substance dependence, depression and anxiety disorders. She also specializes in working with adolescents and their families. Lisa has her Master’s in Counseling and Mental Health from University of Buffalo, CASAC Master’s Counseling from Outreach Training Institute and is also a National Certified Counselor . Motivational Interviewing and CBTShe has experience working with adolescents and their families in residential programs. She has been utilizing skills from treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. In addition Lisa has been working with people in the substance abuse field for over 25 years. Lisa provides a kind and gentle approach to help you navigate the road to recovery and work on your mental health issues.
