Luke Marsy, LMSW

Luke Marsy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Michigan. Luke has a Master’s Degree from Grand Valley State University. He has been in practice for more than seven years working with individuals, families, and children in community-based, primary care, and hospital settings. Luke is very focused on developing the clinical relationship as he believes this is the key to success in treatment. Luke has experience working with a wide variety of ages and populations and believes in treating everyone with compassion and patience. Luke believes that all people have the capabilities to work through life’s challenges with the right tools, guidance, and encouragement. Luke believes in meeting people where they are and assisting them in getting where they want to be. His main areas of focus are depression, anxiety, grief, parenting issues, and substance use. HIs training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

Outside of work, Luke plays several instruments, including the guitar, bass, ukulele, and mandolin. He enjoys snowboarding in the winter and Michigan’s beaches in the summer. Growing up in the Upper Peninsula shaped his love of the outdoors.
