Lusine Azatian, PMHNP

Lusine is an ANCC board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and graduated from Midwestern State University in Texas. Her background includes child, adolescent and geriatric psychiatry. Her clinical career began as a registered nurse at Adventist Health hospital and Stewart and Linda Resnick Neuropsychiatric department at UCLA. Over the last ten years she has gained wide-ranging experience working with clients who have chemical dependency, developmental delays, psychotic disorders and all other various forms of DSM diagnoses. She also has experience working with eating disorder and geriatric populations with complex medical conditions. As a nurse practitioner she has worked at Lifestance Health and provided extensive psychiatric evaluations with ongoing individual psychopharmacological treatment, initiating and monitoring. Currently she works for LifeStance Health and for the county of Los Angeles (Department of Mental Health) as a primary psychiatric prescriber with a team of NPs and MDs serving the under populated area of Palmdale. She is fluent in Armenian hopes to provide excellent and culturally competent psychiatric care to the community.
