Michele Carroll, LCSW, strives to meet clients where they are and navigate them to where they want to be with therapy. Her goal is to support and provide each client with a safe space to develop tools to face their own life challenges and reach their unique goals.

Michele received a BA in Cultural Anthropology from Illinois Wesleyan University and a Masters of Social Work from Dominican University. Her background includes experience as a medical social worker in hospice care and assisting labor as a doula as well as counseling and case management in a facility for child and family early intervention services.

In therapy, Michele collaborates with clients to identify their goals and discover their way of knowing and adapting to the world. She is an eclectic therapist and uses various techniques depending on the issues presented. This may include mindfulness, narrative therapy, journaling, art or play therapy, relaxation techniques and using evidence-based screens for anxiety, depression and more. In every case, Michele works to provide solutions that will most organically fit into each client’s life challenges.
