Therapist in Wexford, Pennsylvania Michelle L. Hajduk, LCSW

Michelle L. Hajduk, LCSW

Michelle has been in the Human services field since 1997 and has had several jobs that she has been either a case manager or service coordinator for children, adolescents and their families that were diagnosed with a behavioral health diagnosis. In 2009, she decided that she wanted to do more and give more to those populations and to the communities in Allegheny County and applied and got accepted into the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Social Work. Michelle graduated in 2012, later obtained her LSW and went on to work in several of the Emergency Departments in the city as a Trauma Social Worker. There really isn’t anything that Michelle hasn’t seen or dealt with in her social work career. In 2020, she sat for her LCSW and took a job at a local Psychiatric Hospital where she held several jobs including Clinical Director, overseeing many departments such as therapy and the programming of the units. During this time, COVID hit and she, like many other healthcare workers continued to work, and for a short time she had her own private practice where she was passionate about helping the front line workers and first responders with their mental health issues.

Michelle was born and raised in the 412 and loves her city. In her free time, she likes to work in the yard with her significant other, take a long ride on the motorcycle, loves her coffee, loves a good burger and mostly loves and appreciates a good laugh that makes your belly hurt.

As a Psychotherapist, Michelle believes that there is hope in healing and taking the first step towards choosing to enter therapy can be scary and vulnerable, we have all been there one time or another in our lives. Michelle takes her time, gets to know her clients needs and goals and builds upon that rapport to begin the therapeutic relationship. The client comes first and foremost and their mental health is the priority. Michelle has a lot of experience assisting clients with anxiety, grief, anger management and depression.
