About Nieshia Whittingham (She/Her)
Nieshia is a licensed marriage and family therapist with a background in systemic and relational counseling. She has worked with individuals, couples and families. She also has worked with diverse clientele and held positions on several committees including the women’s center and diversity, equity and inclusion committee. Nieshia believes in creating a safe space to address issues emerging from a client’s identity and its intersectionality (i.e; race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, spirituality, class socioeconomic status, etc.) Some of her passions include enhancing and promoting mental health wellness in Black and underserved communities.
