Alexander Kanaan is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Virginia who has been practicing since 2017. His graduate studies were done at the University of Tampa where he trained to become a family nurse practitioner, and at Johns Hopkins University where he trained to become a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Our entire experience from scheduling online and working with the staff and then being onboarded easily was refreshing that it went so well. I love that they use Phreesia for check in as well and we were reminded about our appointment with good timing. NP Alex Kanaan was kind and attentive, asked all the right questions and reviewed history and medications extensively to get to the right combination, while remaining conservative in his approach. Highly recommend!

My provider is excellent. The don’t seem to be able to hold onto office staff though. If Some of the interactions I’ve had over the last year are any indication, it must be that they don’t pay well enough to get people who take the work seriously.
