Paityn Biro is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who has been helping individuals, couples, and families navigate anxiety, ADHD, relationship challenges, parenting stress, trauma, and life transitions since 2018. She specializes in creating a supportive, judgment-free environment where clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and goals.

Her therapeutic approach is rooted in Attachment and Polyvagul Theories and informed by neuroscience, with a strong focus on the connection between the brain, nervous system, and body. She has a particular interest in helping clients understand psychosomatic symptoms (physical symptoms caused, triggered or worsened by mental or emotional factors) and how chronic stress, trauma, and life experiences can manifest physically. She believes that caring for the brain and body as an interconnected system is essential for lasting emotional and physical well-being. Paityn wants to help her clients better understand the “why” behind symptoms while developing practical tools to improve regulation, resilience, and overall health.

While her educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Art Therapy, her current practice is formatted as “talk therapy” where she uses the combination of psychoeducation (workbooks, recommended reading, videos), client led “homework” and comfortable conversation tailored to help clients achieve their unique needs and goals. She is passionate about helping clients strengthen relationships, improving communication, and creating meaningful, sustainable change through a collaborative and compassionate therapeutic process.

As a part of her commitment to ethical practice, Paityn does not provide treatment for Alcohol and Othe Drug Abuse (AODA) or substance use disorders. When current or historical substance use is identified as a primary clinical concern, she believes clients are best served through referral to an appropriately qualified provider so they receive the most effective and comprehensive care.
