I am a licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in Rhode Island. I have worked in the mental health field for five years and have worked with children, adolescents, and adults. Over the course of these five years, I have worked in various types of environments such as group homes, schools, treatment programs, and corrections.

I have extensive experience working with state systems such as DCYF and juvenile and adult corrections. I also have experience working with various diagnoses and co-occurring disorders. I specialize in conduct disorder, substance use, legal issues, domestic violence, relationships and family, self-esteem, anxiety disorders, depression, and trauma.

I believe that counseling is more effective and successful if you have a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship. Thus, my overall goal in counseling is to create a non-judgmental, warm, and safe environment where clients feel validated and supported, allowing them to grow and become their best selves.
