Dr. Shreesh Prasad is a child and adolescent and adult psychiatrist with over 5 years of experience in psychiatry. Dr. Prasad specializes in medication management for the full range of mental health conditions including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and OCD, but especially enjoys working with patients with neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD and Autism spectrum disorder as well as those who suffer from trauma-related disorders. Dr. Prasad takes a holistic, multidisciplinary, and strengths-based approach to the patients in his care. He also emphasizes the importance of considering a personā€™s full environmental context, including familial, social, academic, and occupational factors.

Dr. Prasad completed his child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship and his general psychiatry residency at the University of California, Davis. He has a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Georgetown University. In his free time, Dr. Prasad enjoys spending time with his wife and son, their dogs Ember and Ashton, family, and friends. He also enjoys yoga, hiking, tennis, and board games.

My first visit, Dr. Prasad listened to everything that was going on in my life and didnā€™t disregard other medical issues playing a part in my life at this time. He was professional and cared about the individual ā€œmyselfā€ that saw him. He didnā€™t treat me like everyone is the same but was caring to treat my concerns and needs as an individual patient. Dr prasad,is a very caring person, he takes his time, to understand a patient what they are going through in life. and try to find the best way to help them by taking the right medicine. I've to so many doctors before, and most of them are so pushy to try this medicine or if it doesn't work come back and see me in 3 weeks . I really like dr prasad he's very patience .

Dr. Prasad is a great physician. He takes all the time I need, he actually listens to me, and supports me in being an advocate for my health. He is also very interested in my other medical conditions so that he can effectively treat me with the whole picture in mind. His bedside manner is impeccable and is very easy to open up to.

Doctor SHreesh is a wonderful listener, he's amazing . He does everything possible to figure out how he can help a patient suffering from who know what . Also it's so easy to get hold of the doctor and the office . I honestly I am supper satisfied. I feel like a king even though I am not a man.
