Steve Tippetts, LCSW

Steve Tippetts is an LCSW in our Salt Lake Clinic in Murray helping adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, and major life transitions including marriage, divorce, and loss of faith.

He works with individuals, couples, and families to work through challenges in a personalized way. He is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness and Self-Compassion, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and other evidence-based approaches.

Steve has been practicing clinical therapy after making a career change and graduating with his Masters in Social Work from the University of Utah in 2019.

Prior to his education and transition into the field of mental health, Steve studied languages, is fluent in Spanish and earned an MBA. He worked for almost two decades in international business, living in Venezuela, Russia, Ghana, Argentina and various US states.
