Dr. Ayers is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Sex Therapist (CST) with over 20 years of clinical and non-clinical counseling experience. He is also a lifelong student with multiple graduate-level degrees and a Doctorate in family, couples, and spiritual-based counseling. He is a published author and public speaker on the international stage regarding relationships, resiliency, and sexual health. He has also served as a professor of bioethics at a private university. He retired from the Armed Forces, providing non-clinical counseling before transitioning to pursue a career in Clinical Social Work. Dr. Ayers is a professional member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) and certified as a sex therapist through the Sexual Health Alliance. Dr. Ayers specializes in men’s and women’s chronic health and body issues that prevent sexual satisfaction and freedom. His specialty in empowering those facing sexuality and sex-based concerns does not limit his ability to address other behavioral health issues for couples and individuals. Dr. Ayers uses insight-oriented therapy among other theories, in an integrative and collaborative approach to help people overcome life obstacles and reach their full potential.
