Tammera Ross, MAPC, LMHCA
Tammy D. Ross helps children, adolescents, teens, and adults find steadiness and hope when emotional distress feels overwhelming. She provides compassionate, structured mental health counseling for individuals and couples across Washington, supporting those who want practical tools to manage symptoms, strengthen relationships, and regain a sense of control in their daily lives. A central passion of Tammy’s work is with those suffering with trauma/PTSD, veterans and first responders. She understands how vulnerable this transition period can be and focuses on safety, continuity of care, and helping patients re-establish stability.. Her approach emphasizes grounding skills, emotional regulation, and collaborative goal setting to reduce the risk of relapse and support long-term recovery. Tammy’s clinical focus includes PTSD and trauma, anxiety, and ADHD, while also addressing depression, mood disorders, and life transitions as part of comprehensive care. She treats children, adolescents, teens, and adults, and has experience working with military veterans, first responders, and LGBTQ+ individuals. Tammy uses evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and couples counseling, while offering additional therapeutic methods when clinically appropriate. Services include individual therapy and couples therapy tailored to each person’s needs.
Tammy’s dedication to trauma-informed care is deeply personal. Inspired by her grandfather, a World War II Navy veteran who lived for decades with PTSD, she is especially committed to helping veterans and others suffering from the “silent scream” of trauma find their voice, healing, and renewed purpose. Outside of her clinical work, Tammy enjoys spending time near the ocean, training her dogs in agility, traveling, and sharing life with her family and supportive husband.
Tammera Ross provides services with supervision.
