About Virginia Gilpin, LPCC

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed Professional Art Therapist, Virginia believes that change and healing can be fueled by engagement in the creative process and expression of self. Since receiving her Masters in Counseling from the University of Louisville, she has provided therapy for all ages in a variety of settings such as community mental health, inpatient psychiatric hospital, private practice, and in-home therapeutic foster care. Her therapeutic approaches include Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, person-centered Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques. She enjoys working with children and adolescents on issues such as anger management, trauma, attachment, depression, grief, and loss.
