I am a licensed clinical social work (LCSW) with over 15 years of experience working in many therapeutic environments. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety , adjustment disorders, relationship issues, parenting challenges, defiant childhood behaviors, ADHD and LGBTQ issues. My style of therapy is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity and compassion. I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral, Humanistic, solution based, supportive and Multi-systemic Therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique needs. My first time with Mr Alston and despite some technical issues on my my side, great experience! I look forward to diving into my issues and try to come up with answers. I like his style as it is very laid back but involved. Doesn't feel like he loomed over me with all the answers but rather as two guys sitting down to chat. Needing this talk therapy now after 20 years of mostly meds and 'feeling good' but even that was starting to fall short. I'm feeling like a new observation and perspective is what I will get!

I truly could not have asked for a better therapist. I was a wreck when I met him and had failed to connect with 2 previous therapists. With Wayne I feel seen and heard. He has, and continues to help me in many areas of my mental health struggles. He is easygoing. But at the same time will ask the hard questions and push when needed. If asked a few years ago, I would have never imagined being excited for therapy day. I cannot say enough good things about him.

Wayne helped me get a lot of pressure off my heart and brain. He worked with me and help me feel better about my self . Going to a therapist was the right thing to do to get through my grief and many other things. If I ever need to talk to someone I know I can contact Wayne. He was such a blessing and just what I needed.

Wayne is an amazing counselor, soon as I met him, we connected in such a wonderful way. As a veteran it sometimes is hard to get a good connection with counselors and I had a bad experience prior, so having this happen was such a blessing.
