I have no details as I'm not a patient, just need to find a doctor the specializes adhd. I'm 47yr old female who's been diagnosed adhd since the age of 7years old. I've been in special classes to manage my adhd throughout my schooling and as a working adult started meditation at that time. I moved to Tennessee and even with my medical chart history my doctor refused to continue my medication and pushed depression medication on me that I refused to take because that not my mental illness! I even explained my work load and how hard of a time I was having and I was told "then its time to change my job" after over a decade building my career. I've never been so appalled by a doctor disrespected and disregarded.

I have done counseling, I’ve met with many doctors and I have been on medication. I’ve went through a complete life-changing experience when I got sick. Every doctor wanted to treat the symptoms, but not help me with learning how to deal or cope. Then I came to lifestance to try once again and find someone to really help me. Then I met with Connie Robinette and when I left there, I was crying. But they were tears of happiness and peace. I thought to myself did I just find a therapist who was truly understanding knowledgeable and judgment free?. I am actually excited to go to therapy. I have a lot to work through but I feel blessed and safe to go on this journey with someone like her by my side.

Had first appointment today and all I can say is wow. Coming from south carolina to Tennessee was afraid I wouldn't find anyone and was dreading dredging everything up again but Connie Robinette from the bristol office made me very comfortable and was immediately at ease and was able to calm my nerves. Was like sitting and talking to a lifelong friend.
