Without giving too many personal details. I'd just like to say that I have been a patient at River Valley Psychological Services since I was 16 years old. I'm now in my early twenties. I have seen the same psychiatrist since the very beginning and have had a therapist there for about a year and a half. I normally go to the Issaquah location. My experience in Issaquah is always a great one! The staff there are the literal sweetest. They really get to know the patients. I literally walk through the door and they know my name and they know who I'm going to see and they sign me right on in. The ladies at the front are amazing. They'll chat with you when they aren't taking calls and everyone there is extremely friendly! For some I know this is important so I will add it. The environment of the Issaquah office is very nice. They have a fish tank and comfortable chairs. It is very clean and there is a bathroom available for everybody not just employees. I'm currently only seeing a psychiatrist at River Valley at the moment and I've been seeing her since I was 16. She is the absolute best! I highly, highly, recommend River Valley Psychological Services to anyone looking for a therapist, counselor and or psychiatrist. Because I've been around a while I've gotten to run into the other providers and I've seen a couple therapists. And I have got to say their staff is really amazing! From the ladies at the front desk to whomever you are going to see. They do a very good job!

I just wanted to share my Amazing experience I had with Dr. Audrey Church, who Correctly diagnosed a problem that has adversely affected my life for many years. She treated me as a unique, and important individual with specialized needs and not as just another patient who is waiting in a room with a herd of other patients. I came away from my virtual appointment feeling assured that Dr Church thouroughly identified my problems and provided me with an important and accurate diagnosis that has plagued me for years. Due to the help of Dr Church, I now look forward to a positive and successful future!

I’m not only happy but feel fortunate to have found Dr. Church as I know (from personal experience) how difficult it can be for a patient to find the right “fit”, so to speak. She was very quick to put me at a place of ease and comfort which I find important when developing a trusting relationship with a Doctor. Her friendliness and warmth, combined with a genuine care and interest in her patients is what makes Dr. Church someone who’s capable of connecting with people of many different walks of life. It was the first time I had an in office visit with Dr. Partlow Lohse. I really appreciate her no-nonsense and yet super personable care as a psychiatrist. Seeing her in person felt no different than our TeleHealth meetings, which was nice! I’ve always been so grateful for Diane’s kindness when I have had to call the office. It was great seeing the friendly face behind her sweet voice. I didn’t meet Cindy, but I’m imagining that she’s just as great in person as well!

Today was my first appointment and it was such an amazing environment. I was very nervous to come in and Wendy berg made me feel like I was in a safe place and made it fun and comfortable to be there. Instead of making me feel like there was something different or wrong with me, she made sure it was clear that none of what I have been going through is my fault.
