If you’ve read my review of Dr. Sandler, you’ll know this serves as a prequel to it. I want to publicly thank Dr. Stephanie Joseph for recognizing that my symptoms were real, not imagined, and for setting me on the path that ultimately led to my hyperparathyroidism diagnosis. I described many of my symptoms and how long I suffered in my other review, so I won’t repeat them here. What matters is that Dr. Joseph truly listened and recognized that something was wrong. She recommended that I see an endocrinologist, and because of that, I no longer feel like I’m wasting away. She saved my life. I believe this is because she is a psychiatrist who genuinely listens. I had never been to therapy before and tend to be a very private person. But after no medical professional could explain my symptoms, I decided to try therapy because I felt I had no other choice. Dr. Joseph was warm and welcoming from our first session. She understood that therapy was difficult for me and respected my hesitation. She was patient, attentive, and never dismissed my symptoms, even when our efforts did not resolve them. I understand that therapy is not for everyone, and finding the right fit can take effort. I thank God that I found Dr. Joseph, and I pray she continues helping others the way she helped me.

Dr. Demb is the best psychiatrist I have ever had. He gave me knowledge about medication and the treatment I was currently on was not right for me and he got me down to only two meds which is a lot different than the regimen I was on. I will see him regularly and also look forward to therapy. He’s a very professional and very empathetic which is something you don’t find too often in a psychiatrist. I look forward to working with him and his office on a regular basis. I have been on medication since I was 18 and this is the least Mom meds I’m prescribed for my condition and that makes me extremely happy. Thank you

I'm surprised by all the poor reviews... We've had an amazing experience with Dr. Alshaikh over the past year, and I would recommend her and this office to anyone. Our child was in crisis and we were placed on so many psychiatrist wait-lists.... We couldn't get in anywhere! We finally heard about Lifestance and were able to get in with Dr. Alshaikh immediately. She completely turned things around for our child and is very thorough, caring, and knowledgeable. We continue to follow up, and the whole process is easy. The portal is great, they bill insurance directly, etc. We're very grateful!

Muchas gracias por sus servicios desde que llamé el primer día las personas que me atendieron por teléfono fueron muy atentas conmigo, me explicaron muy bien desde el principio hasta que tuve la cita con el doctor, él doctor fue muy amable y respetuoso muchas gracias si lo recomiendo a otros pacientes. I’ve had a really great experience with LifeStance. My practitioner, Karissa, is awesome. She takes the time to listen to my concerns, my goals, my feelings, and she never makes me feel rushed. The patient portal makes it easy to contact the office as well as Karissa. Overall a good experience.

Had an appointment with Dr. Megan and she is very professional, very kind, friendly and take the time to listen and talk to you about any issues that you have. Her office is very clean and comfortable , feels like home. Definitely recommend her if you need someone to talk to
