I am retired from an allied health career with a public health wellness focus that includes evaluating needs, access to care , planning services,, health education, and assessing quality of care. My health care field has basically been abolished, with these responsibilities buried under actions whose ONLY goals are financial gain and political power. A most BASIC CRITICAL component of health care is proper diagnostic procedure. Essential methodology and almost been wiped out because across all insurance providers, government and private refuse to pay for the essential time and labwork required. The standard now is to collect information from a cursory patient interview (10-20 minutes), using a list of about ten symptoms with a diagnosis made when 3-5 items are checked. This short list is the drug company list of the symptoms that match the illness their newest drug treats.For example, there are MANY causes of memory loss, brain fog. The short list applies to almost ALL of them, but the fast diagnosis that skips ALL necessary time and tests results in widespread diagnosis of dementia, treated by Nuedexta a remarkable drug that can slow early onset of dementia but a disaster for an over 65 patient who has Attention Deficit Disorder. I have been astonished from the beginning to witness that Lifestance adheres to the best quidelines and standards of practices that are currently very rare. For instance, their intake questionnaire takes hours to complete because it is so thorough, gathering ALL the relevant information necessary for to begin visits with the best match with the therapist whose specialty and experience provides the best fit for most accurate diagnosis and most effective therapy for each individual patient. And their therapists includes an impressive variety of specialties

Scheduling and communications have been easy and reception & phone staff friendly and professional. My therapist's review: I have had the privilege of having Liz Michaud as a therapist for the past six months or so. Liz is an incredibly gifted and well-rounded individual. She has great integrity, professionalism, and communication skills. She is very supportive, intuitive, compassionate, self-aware, tactful, socially/politically conscious, personable, and creative. I have found every personal description in her extremely thoughtful profile on Lifestance Health to be accurate (hopefully you have taken the time to read it.) I highly recommend Liz.

Leanne is an excellent Therapist for her progressive advice, amazingly patient listening skills , and professional assertiveness . I learned from this Therapist great awareness of how to use better boundaries with others including myself and outstanding communication skills . She always gave accurate unbiased feedback with compassionate support for all sides! Thank you for helping me to grow, understand, evolve , process my experiences and learn to be a better version of myself! I'm so glad I found this office. Finding in-network mental health resources with my insurance is really, really hard. Juliano has been a godsend to finally fixing my mental health disorder(s). He also brings a sweet cute dog to work which just makes my heart melt and calm nerves. My life before and after has quite a stark difference and I'm making a dent in life milestones I've procrastinated for years.

I like Dr. Murphy, he has taken the time to not only talk but to listen. The previous therapist was nothing more than a pill pusher. Dr. Murphy has taken the time to review, discuss, coordinating with my primary physician to determine the exact medication I need.
