Trauma Education Group in Oregon
Join us for a supportive and informative group designed to help you better understand PTSD and trauma-related disorders.
Group Overview:
This group focuses on education and practical tools—not trauma processing—so you can feel safe and empowered.
What to Expect:
- Learn about PTSD and trauma-related symptoms
Understand common signs and associated features in a clear, approachable way. - Explore helpful perspectives
Gain insights from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-Based approaches. - Build practical coping skills
Discover tools for relaxation, self-soothing, and managing stress. - Safe and structured environment
This is NOT a trauma-processing group.
No specific trauma-sharing is allowed to prevent re-triggering and ensure everyone’s comfort.
Participants: Adults (18+) with PTSD or other trauma-related disorders
Cost: Insurance and self-pay are accepted
When: Virtual Sessions on Wednesdays from 4 to 5 p.m., starting February 4, 2026
