David Frazee, MA, LPC
I am a native of Oregon living most of my childhood in Central Oregon. I graduated high school in Redmond, Oregon and went into the Navy immediately after. In the service I was a mechanic on aircraft support equipment and after discharge I worked on airplanes earning my FAA Certification as and Airframe and Powerplants Mechanic. I worked as an airplane mechanic for 6 years and left to be a mechanic on golf courses maintaining the mowers and other equipment. It was during this time I decided to get my education. At age 30 I started at the University of Oregon, earning a Bachelor’s degree in General Social Science and then earned a Master of Arts Degree at Bushnell University in Professional Counseling. Coursework began with human development and theory of treatment for mental illness. We also learned about testing and assessment, developing diagnosis and overview of treatment options to help individuals to reach and maintain and optimal mental state. I believe that each person can reach an optimum state of health, mental and physical and that the individual holds the key to that state. Through an eclectic approach of cognitive therapies, it is possible for each individual to find, achieve and live their best life.
